Description

West Houston Veterinary Medical Associates is now hiring for a Veterinary Technician to join our team!

Our focus is on being a place of comfort for our clients and pets, in sickness and in health. You will have the opportunity to reach your full potential as a Veterinary Technician performing all technical responsibilities to provide quality patient care.

Here is What Your day May Consist of:

  • Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
  • Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral)
  • Assist with radiographic procedures
  • Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing
  • Provide care to hospitalized patients
  • Manage invoicing of patients
  • Client communication and education
  • Admitting and discharging patients


Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:

  • Completion of a two-year or four-year American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited veterinary technology program from a community college, college, or university
  • Experience in veterinary medicine
