Oath Animal Hospital in East Meadow, NY is hiring a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to provide skilled care for patients and exceptional service to clients. The successful candidate will assist veterinarians, perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and manage medical records.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.

• Familiarity with DEA, OSHA and hospital safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate care instructions and status updates to clients.
• Perform lab work, radiographs, injections and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Keep exam rooms, treatment areas and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Follow hospital safety and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Salary: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Join our team and earn a competitive sign‑on bonus!

Schedule:This is a full‑time position. Shifts may begin as early as 7:45 AM and end at closing, typically around 6:00 PM. Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Starts and end times may be adjusted based on business needs.
