Job summary

VCA Bonita Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team at 3438 Bonita Rd, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Salary ranges from $21 to $31 per hour, with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

As part of the VCA team, you will support veterinarians and technicians, perform venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, lab work, and other duties to ensure top-quality patient care and client experience.

Qualifications

• RV T credential required.
• Experience as a veterinary technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality client experience and support for pets.
• Assist doctors and technicians in patient care.
• Perform venipuncture and catheterization as needed.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist during procedures.
• Handle radiology, lab work, and patient recovery tasks.
