VCA Centerville Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician for a full-time role in Centreville, VA. You will support doctors and technicians, maintain a low-stress environment for patients and clients, and contribute to high-quality care across exams, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, radiology, and lab work.

Responsibilities

  • Support technician and doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.
  • Win the confidence of pet parents by delivering an outstanding client experience to enable exceptional patient care.
  • Perform physical examinations and patient assessment.
  • Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
  • Assist with surgical preparation and procedures.
  • Provide dentistry, radiology, and laboratory support.
  • Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
  • Assist with pharmacy tasks and patient recovery.

Position: Veterinary Technician Full Time

Location: VCA Centerville Animal Hospital - 13663 US-29, Centreville, VA 20121

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $23-$30/hr

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a member of the VCACentreville, you will support technician and doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient.
You have worked hard to gain experience and we want you to use the knowledge that you have invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
