Role: Licensed Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-Time
Salary: $19–$30 per hour (based on experience & licensure)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (4 ten-hour shifts)

What You’ll Do

Triage patients and obtain medical histories, vitals, and patient assessments
Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
Provide compassionate nursing care from intake through discharge
Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
Obtain high‑quality radiographs and assist with diagnostic imaging
Run in‑house laboratory testing including CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, and cytology
Support surgical and dental procedures including preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery
Practice Fear Free and low‑stress handling techniques
Educate clients with compassion, clarity, and confidence
Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
Collaborate with the team to maintain efficient workflow and a positive hospital culture

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred
Experienced Veterinary Assistant and technician candidates welcome

Strong technical abilities including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory procedures, and anesthesia monitoring
Experience assisting in surgery and patient nursing care
Knowledge of preventative care, pharmacology, and medication administration
