Description

Our hospital is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Technician to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.

The Full-Time Veterinary Technician is responsible for assisting Veterinarians in the care of animals. Responsibilities include assisting during initial examinations by restraining animals, stocking examination and surgery rooms, sterilizing tools, and ensuring equipment functionality. Technical skills may include venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia administration and monitoring, dental prophylaxis, radiography, medication administration, laboratory analysis, and client education. The technician also communicates with clients and updates patient files.

• Energetic, compassionate, and caring with a strong work ethic
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends
• Prior experience in a hospital setting with animals
