Animal Hospital at Lakewood Ranch is expanding its team of Veterinary Assistants and Technicians in Bradenton, FL. We seek self-motivated, eager-to-learn individuals who thrive in a tech-driven environment and want to advance their veterinary careers.

Ideal candidates have LVT or 3+ years of progressive experience, strong surgical monitoring skills, and the ability to perform labs and read radiographs with accuracy. Join a skilled, supportive team offering growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• LVT preferred OR 3+ years of progressive experience.
• Extensive surgical monitoring and training required.
• Set up/read ear cytology, fecal, and run labwork; Heska experience a plus.
• Take x-rays with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Safe handling and restraint of animals.
• Obtain vital signs and medical history.
• Assist in performing diagnostics.
• Dispense and administer medications and preventatives.
• Maintain case files and communications.
• Clean and restock exam rooms, treatment, and kennels.
• Communicate with clients in a friendly, informative manner.
• Support and educate pet owners; collaborate with team.
• Communicate effectively with the team.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
