Qualifications

• Ability to assist with anesthesia and surgical support.
• Proficiency in collecting and processing laboratory samples.
• Basic radiography and diagnostic imaging skills; willingness to learn.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Perform and monitor anesthesia under veterinary supervision
• Obtain and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal, cytology, etc.)
• Conduct radiographs and other diagnostic imaging as needed
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and care for hospitalized patients, ensuring comfort and accurate treatment
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Educate clients on pet care, treatment plans, and medication instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area
• Support patient handling and restraint with a focus on safety and low-stress techniques
