True Companion Veterinary Care in Cypress, TX seeks a compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced clinic. You will assist veterinarians with surgeries, coordinate animal care, and monitor recovery, helping our team deliver exceptional medical care to pets.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of veterinary technician experience, proficiency with Cornerstone/IDEXX software, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Need at least 2 years of veterinary technician position.
• Experience with Cornerstone/IDEXX software is a plus.
• Efficient in drawing blood from jugular, cephalic and saphenous veins in dogs and cats.
• Efficient catheter placement in dogs and cats.
• Monitor surgical patients and post-operative recovery.
• Experience with endoscopy, blood/plasma transfusion, and critical care setup is a plus.
• Previous veterinary technician experience is required.
• Knowledge of animal care and handling.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Patience and love for animals.

Responsibilities

• Triage pets as they arrive.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian Technician to join the team at our successful clinic. Veterinary Technician responsibilities include assisting the Veterinarian with surgeries and procedures, coordinating animal care, and monitoring animal recovery. You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all of our pet patients. • Experience in the following is a plus the use of endoscopy, setting up for blood transfusion and monitoring, plasma transfusion, and the use and set up of the critical care synder.
• Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role
• Knowledge of animal care and handling
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment
