Job summary

Petfolk’s Allen Pet Care Center is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join our medical team and deliver high‑quality patient care alongside veterinarians. You’ll support surgeries, venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, and client education in a collaborative, tech‑driven environment.

We seek 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience and Texas licensure (LVT/RVT/CVT). Commitment to Fear‑Free handling and ongoing growth are valued as we empower your professional development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Texas.
• Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling (certification a plus, and we’ll pay for it)
• Comfortable with technology, adaptable, and motivated to grow

Responsibilities

• Assisting in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring
• Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics
• Educating pet parents with compassion and clarity
• Ensuring accurate medical documentation and patient histories
• Promoting low-stress and Fear-Free techniques in every interaction
• Mentoring assistants and fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence

What You’ll Do
