Ceglinski Animal Clinic in Paducah, KY is seeking an experienced Veterinary Tech Assistant to join our fast-paced, 4-doctor practice. We are a full-service small animal clinic offering in-house labs, digital x-ray, laser therapy, ultrasound, surgery, and anesthesia support.

The role focuses on patient restraint, lab work, imaging, anesthesia monitoring, and compassionate client communication as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Veterinary Tech Assistant with 1+ year experience preferred.
• Compassionate, calm, team player, multi-tasker and strong communicator.
• Must be able to properly restrain pets.

Responsibilities

• Pet restraint, triage incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples.
• Diagnostic imaging and radiographs.
• Nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying stability.
• Administration of medications.
• Effective communication of treatment plans with clients.
• Surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
