Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary assistant or in a related support role preferred.
• Experience in general practice or surgical settings is a plus.
• Able to safely handle and restrain dogs and cats.
• Strong communication with clients and team members.
• Dependable, organized, and proactive in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and licensed technicians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Safely restrain dogs and cats for examinations and medical procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms, treatment areas, surgical suites, and medical equipment.
• Assist with laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing.
• Support surgical procedures and help prepare patients for surgery.
• Monitor recovering patients and communicate changes to the medical team.
• Accurately document treatments, observations, and patient information.
• Help maintain an efficient and organized clinic workflow.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
