Ceglinski Animal Clinic in Paducah, KY is seeking an experienced Veterinary Tech Assistant to join our four-doctor small animal team. The role includes triage, lab work, diagnostic imaging, anesthesia support, and nursing care for medical and hospitalized patients.

We value compassion, teamwork, and the ability to restrain pets and communicate treatment plans clearly to clients. Prior experience and willingness to grow through hands-on and virtual training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Veterinary Tech Assistant preferred.
• Ability to restrain pets properly and communicate with clients.
• Experience with sample collection, basic lab tests, and radiographs is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Pet restraint and triage incoming patients.
• Collection and analysis of lab samples and basic in-house diagnostics.
• Diagnostic imaging and anesthesia monitoring support.
• Nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying stability.
• Administration of medications and communication of treatment plans with clients.
