Qualifications

• Interest in surgery and ability to stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of equipment preparation and sterilization techniques.
• Familiarity with commonly performed orthopedic procedures.
• Understanding of animal behavior and handling.
• Reliable and organized team member.
• Willing to support all hospital departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-of-day closing duties.
• Attend staff meetings and support floor operations.
• Assist CCRs with cleaning exam rooms and preparing spaces.
• Assist DAs with filling medications for in-house patients.
• Support rehabilitation/physical therapy treatments when needed.
• Carry out orders from DVM or LVT and ensure patient safety.
