Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a veterinary assistant role required.
• Proficiency in safe animal handling, restraint, and aseptic technique.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and assisting during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with surgical and dental procedures.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and radiography.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for procedures.
• Maintain accurate surgical and treatment records.
• Guide clients through admission and discharge with compassion.
• Support exams and outpatient procedures outside surgical schedules.
• Anticipate needs to support efficient workflow.
