Violet Crown Veterinary Specialists seeks a skilled Surgery Technician to provide perioperative care and supporting roles for anesthesia and surgical procedures. You will work closely with a veterinary surgical team to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and documentation in a fast-paced specialty hospital.

Responsibilities include assisting with pre- and post-operative care, anesthesia support, CT imaging, and cross-training across departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a surgery/anesthesia technician in a specialty hospital or high-volume surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain signed consent forms, prepare medications and supplies for same-day procedures, assist with pre- and post-operative care.
• Notify owners when surgery begins and ensure medications and discharge prescriptions are ready.
• Continuously update surgical reports and maintain sterile operating room environment.
• Assist with anesthesia procedures and support anesthetists following protocols.
• Cross-train in anesthesia, radiology, and other departments for flexible support.
• Operate CT machine and assist with imaging; ensure equipment is sterilized and ready.
