Wieuca Animal Clinic is seeking a surgical tech with strong anesthesia monitoring skills to support complex procedures and monitor anesthesia throughout surgeries. You will also help with pre- and post-operative care, client communication, and vital record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as surgery tech and monitoring anesthesia.
• Experience in anesthesia and surgical monitoring.
• Ability to interpret medical records and client history accurately.
• Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner.
• High work ethic and positive attitude as a team member.
• Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely.
• Proficient in sample collection including blood, urine, fecal, and skin.
• Proficient in setting up and processing laboratory samples and tests.
• Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical preparation and procedures, and monitor anesthesia.
• Restrain and triage incoming patients and manage nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases.
• Collect and analyze lab samples and perform diagnostic imaging as required.
• Communicate treatment plans clearly with clients and document notes and charts.
• Ensure accurate recording of medical histories and client records.
