Veterinary Surgeon - Permanent Part-Time (Day Team) - West Yorkshire

Are you a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon seeking a role that offers both professional growth and a supportive environment? This permanent, part‑time position within a dynamic veterinary hospital could be the perfect fit for you.

Role Details:

Fixed Shift Pattern:

  • Wednesday 9:00‑6:00, Thursday 9:00‑8:00.
  • One in four weekends: 7:30‑6:00, 9:30‑8:00, or 10:00‑8:30.
  • Weekend shifts focus on emergency and critical care with 30‑minute sick‑pet consultations.
  • Advanced procedures performed regularly (oesophageal tube placements, chest drain placements, endoscopy).
  • State‑of‑the‑art equipment: digital X‑ray, advanced ultrasound with Doppler, CT, flexible video gastroscope.
Requirements:
  1. General practitioner with UK first‑opinion experience, eager to work in a supportive hospital environment.
  2. Veterinarians interested in ophthalmology, dermatology, or feline medicine, with potential to run referral clinics from 19 feeder practices.
Caseload & Facilities:

Handle diverse cases such as caesareans, pyometra, exploratory laparotomies, Addisonian and diabetic conditions, severe pancreatitis, ensuring varied workdays.

Hospital facilities include Procyte haematology, Catalyst Dx, digital X‑ray, CT and more.
