Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health’s Florida Veterinary Referral Center in Estero, FL is seeking a skilled veterinary surgeon to lead orthopedic and soft tissue cases in a state-of-the-art 24/7 specialty hospital. You will integrate with emergency, critical care, and other services, shaping the surgical program.

Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with licensure eligibility.
  • Board Certification in Surgery (DACVS) or completion of a surgical residency.
  • Excellent surgical and client communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration with emergency and other services.
  • Interest in leadership and service growth.

Responsibilities

  • Balance consultations, case workups, and surgical procedures.
  • Perform orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries using imaging and equipment.
  • Collaborate with specialties for integrated case management.
  • Help shape and grow the surgical service in line with hospital priorities.
  • Mentor and work with a dedicated surgical nursing team.
  • Communicate clearly with pet owners throughout the surgical process.

In Your Day To Day, You Will
