Pet Emergency & Referral Center, part of Ethos Veterinary Health, seeks a Veterinary Surgeon for a full-time role in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Join a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team including Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Surgery to advance specialty medicine.

You will balance consultations, case workups, and surgeries, collaborating across specialties with a focus on compassionate client communication and outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Surgery or residency training in Surgery.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
• A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.
• An interest in contributing to the continued growth and development of the surgical service.

Responsibilities

• Balance time between consultations, case workups, and surgical procedures.
• Perform orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries using available imaging and surgical equipment.
• Collaborate with other specialties to support integrated case management.
• Help shape and grow the surgical service in line with hospital priorities.
• Work alongside a dedicated surgical nursing and support team.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.

PERC recently completed a 4,000 square foot expansion, adding a centralized doctor workstation, expanded ICU and laboratory space, a dedicated feline ward, additional exam, procedure and bereavement rooms, upgraded oxygen systems and cages, and enhanced radiology and anesthesia monitoring capabilities.
