Since 2010, VetMED has been a leader in advanced veterinary medicine, and under new leadership, the hospital is focused on building a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented culture centered around exceptional patient care.

As the founding surgeon, you'll have the opportunity to help define the vision, structure, and growth of the Surgery service. You'll have the autonomy to develop your caseload, establish relationships with referring veterinarians, help shape service workflows, and identify the equipment and resources needed as the service grows.

You'll be supported by an experienced specialty and emergency team, including our on-site Dermatology service, Critical Care, and busy 24/7 Emergency team. A board-certified surgeon at a sister Ethos hospital will also be available as a clinical resource and partner, providing mentorship, collaboration, and support as you build the Surgery service at VetMED.

The hospital is led by a board certified Criticalist, providing experienced clinical leadership and supporting the continued development of a positive, team oriented hospital culture. With a skilled technician team, spacious clinical environment, established referral relationships, and the infrastructure of a busy specialty and emergency hospital, VetMED provides a strong foundation from which to build a successful and sustainable Surgery service.
