Arthrex is seeking a Veterinary Sales Associate/Representative for the Colorado territory. You will plan and execute sales calls to veterinarians and clinics, selecting Arthrex products to meet client needs while driving territory growth.

The role requires building relationships, meeting sales targets, and staying current on Arthrex products. Remote work within Colorado is possible; travel >50% is expected.

The Arthrex Veterinary Sales Associate or Representative is responsible for generating sales of products and equipment to both existing veterinarians and new customers within an assigned sales territory by planning and making sales calls and selecting products and programs that motivate customers to buy products. The territory for this position will be Colorado. Remote work within the state of CO, will be considered.

The salary range is $50,000 - $90,000 plus commissions and bonus.

Main Objective

The Arthrex Veterinary Sales Associate is responsible for generating sales of products and equipment to both existing veterinarians and new customers within an assigned sales territory. The Arthrex Veterinary Sales Associate plans and makes sales calls and selects products and programs that motivate customers to buy products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Call on target, current and prospective customers in order to generate sales, improve market share, and increase income for AVS.
• Utilize the computer as a sales aid and be competent in the use of Outlook, and the Arthrex Veterinary website.
• Seek to understand the needs of the veterinarian and clinic and, in turn, select products and services to satisfy those needs.
• Establish appropriate relationships with veterinarians and clinics.
• Review and utilize sales analysis in pre and post call planning.
• Prepare and maintain a written call cycle consistent with territory changes. Share information with Arthrex Management.
• Stay current on the full line of products and services offered by Arthrex.
• Demonstrate competency in Arthrex sales programs, products and techniques.
• Establish account profiles for customers within territory.
• Be responsive to communication from customers, and team members.
• Detail and/or demonstrate new products and techniques for customers.
• Ensure reporting is submitted timely.
• Meet sales goals and budget numbers.
• Act as a resource to the customer in Arthrex products.
• Maintain adequate support material and detail aids in automobile.
• Participate in conference calls and meetings as request.
• Over 50% travel is required.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Vet Sales Associate requires at least 1 year of outside sales experience; preferably in animal health.
• Vet Sales Representative requires at least 3 years of outside sales experience; preferably in animal health.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training

• Knowledge of company’s products, pricing practices, and selling skills.
• Effective management skills with ability to manage the company’s sales operations.
