BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an energetic Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician to join our team in Marietta, GA. This role focuses on implementing rehabilitation plans, providing nursing care, and supporting clients and clinicians in a fast-paced specialty setting.

Qualifications

• Hold a current CCRP certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in veterinary medicine.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to work on the floor, crawl, grasp objects, reach and squat.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision to implement rehabilitation therapy plans.
• Provide nursing care to patients.
• Utilize technical skills in rehabilitation.
• Communicate with clients and assist the veterinary practitioner.
• Assist in recovery and management of injured or post-surgical patients.
• Maintain digital medical records and documentation as appropriate.
• Assist in therapeutic exercises.
• Restrain during ultrasound or TENS treatment, underwater treadmill therapy.
• Prepare patients and rooms and educate clients.
• Record digital notes during rehab sessions and consultations/rechecks.
• Take on other duties as required.

• P atient and room prep and client education
• Take and record digital notes during rehab sessions and consultations/rechecks
