BluePearl Pet Hospital is now hiring for an energetic, passionate, and driven Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician to join our team.

Schedule

Tuesday-Friday (Tentative)

Pay

$20.00 - $40.00 / hour (starting point dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.)

About the Role

We develop relationships with patients and clients through our therapeutic programs that grow over weeks and months and may last years as we work to maintain or restore the best quality of life for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of our practitioners to perform and implement the designated rehabilitation therapy plan.
• Provide nursing care to patients.
• Utilize technical skills.
• Communicate with clients and assist the veterinary practitioner as needed.
• Assist in the recovery and management of our injured, debilitated, and post‑surgical patients.
• Assist in daily complete digital medical record keeping and documentation as appropriate.
• Assist in therapeutic exercises.
• Restrain during ultrasound or TENS treatment, underwater treadmill therapy.
• Patient and room prep and client education.
• Take and record digital notes during rehab sessions and consultations/rechecks.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Holds a current CCRP certification.
• Has a High School Diploma / GED.
• Experience working in veterinary medicine.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to work on the floor, crawl, grasp objects, reach and squat.
