Qualifications

  • Must reside in or around the Atlanta, Georgia area.
  • 5+ years of progressive veterinary operations or practice management leadership experience.
  • Experience leading multiple locations with accountability for operational and financial performance.
  • Strong experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and business planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold leaders accountable for performance.
  • Experience with workforce planning, recruiting, retention, scheduling, and labor optimization.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and turn insights into action.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for two specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals in the Atlanta market.
  • Maintain accountability for hospital P&L performance, revenue growth, expense management, labor, productivity, and overall financial health.
  • Partner with hospital leaders to develop and execute annual and long-term business plans.
  • Establish clear operational priorities, performance expectations, and measurable goals across the market.
  • Analyze hospital financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring intervention.
  • Develop and implement strategies that improve operational efficiency, hospital performance, and profitability.
  • Ensure alignment with Innovetive Petcare policies, processes, and operational standards while maintaining appropriate hospital-level autonomy.
  • Directly lead, coach, and develop the Hospital Administrator and Practice Managers.
  • Partner with hospital medical leadership to create strong, collaborative leadership teams.
  • Establish goals, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Identify leadership development opportunities and build succession plans for key hospital roles.
  • Support onboarding, development, and integration of new hospital leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and hospital leadership to develop effective recruiting and retention strategies.
  • Evaluate staffing models, scheduling, labor utilization, and workforce needs to support hospital growth and patient care.
  • Help attract and retain veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support team members in a competitive market.
  • Support workforce planning and identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Partner with leaders to address performance, employee relations, and organizational challenges.
  • Identify opportunities to increase client acquisition, client retention, hospital utilization, and service-line growth.
  • Partner with hospital and medical leaders to develop strategies for sustainable revenue growth.
  • Support marketing, community outreach, referral relationships, and other initiatives that strengthen hospital visibility and growth.
  • Evaluate opportunities to expand services and improve access to specialty and emergency veterinary care.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and business opportunities that may impact hospital performance.
  • Champion continuous improvement and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the client and team experience.
  • Lead implementation of Innovetive Petcare initiatives, systems, and SOPs.
  • Monitor KPIs and translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, People Operations, and other Home Office teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to hospital leadership.

Lead the Growth and Success of Two Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Hospitals

Innovetive Petcare is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to lead the operational and business performance of two specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals in the greater Atlanta, Georgia market.

Qualified candidate must reside in or around the Atlanta, GA area for this position.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced multi-site veterinary operations professional who understands the complexities of specialty and emergency medicine and knows how to translate business strategy into strong hospital performance, exceptional client experiences, and sustainable growth.

This position will provide strategic and operational leadership across the market, with a Hospital Administrator and two Practice Managers reporting directly to the Market Operations Manager. The role reports to the Director of Operations and serves as a key connection between hospital leadership and Innovetive Petcare's Support Center. As the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational, financial, and business performance of two veterinary hospitals. You will partner closely with hospital leadership and medical teams to establish priorities, improve performance, develop leaders, optimize resources, and support continued growth.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on operator who can move comfortably between P&L management, KPI analysis, leadership development, staffing strategy, client experience, recruiting, and day-to-day operational problem solving.

You will have the opportunity to influence the success of two specialty and emergency veterinary practices while developing a strong leadership bench and creating consistency across the market.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Hospital Operations

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for two specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals in the Atlanta market.
