We’re seeking a Part-Time, Weekend Morning Veterinary Receptionist (Client Service Coordinator - CSR) to join our compassionate, fast-paced team. If you’re someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys helping people, and loves animals—you might be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
As our Weekend CSR, you’ll be the welcoming face and steady presence that helps guide clients through emergency or specialty visits. You’ll play a critical role in communication, comfort, and coordination.
Client Engagement
- Greet clients warmly and compassionately during check-in and check-out.
- Answer phones, respond to questions, and provide timely updates to pet parents.
- Clearly explain procedures, policies, and follow-up steps in an approachable way.
Administrative & Financial Tasks
- Handle payments, invoices, and estimates accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Ensure records and financial documents are complete and confidential.
- Support accurate and efficient documentation in patient medical records.
Support & Coordination
- Communicate seamlessly with our clinical teams to ensure timely care.
- Help schedule specialty consultations and follow-up visits.
- Keep the reception area organized and welcoming.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Prior experience in a veterinary or human medical setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with emergency or specialty veterinary care is a strong plus.
Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced, sometimes emotional environment.
- Comfortable with technology, POS systems, and multitasking.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional education in a veterinary or medical-related field is a plus.
