BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring Veterinary Receptionists!

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are vital to our hospital's success. You will be the first BluePearl Associate that clients see, ensuring each client receives the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally challenging situations.

Schedules Available:

1. Swing shifts - 4 x 10-hour shifts; every other weekend required.
2. 10:00 am - 8:00 pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
3. 4:00 pm - 12:00 am (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

As a Veterinary Receptionist, your responsibilities include:

• Greeting clients warmly and making friendly eye contact upon entry.
• Maintaining a friendly demeanor, strong eye contact, and approachability.
• Listening compassionately to clients.
• Speaking clearly and calmly in person and on the phone to ensure understanding.
• Assessing clients' needs and the pet's condition upon arrival.
• Determining emergency status of arrivals.
• Responding to non-patient calls and visitors, directing them appropriately.
• Confirming appointments and providing clients with preparation instructions.
• Offering emotional support and resources to grieving clients.
• Handling pet remains with compassion, ensuring a complete and respectful process.
