BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring Veterinary Receptionists!

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are vital to our hospital's success. You will be the first BluePearl Associate clients see, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate, even in emotionally challenging situations.

Schedules Available:

1. Swing shifts: 4 x 10-hour shifts; every other weekend required.
2. 10:00am-8:00pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
3. 4:00pm-12:00am (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will:

• Greet clients warmly and make friendly eye contact upon entry.
• Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and approachable demeanor.
• Be a compassionate listener.
• Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly to clients in person and on the phone.
• Assess clients and pets upon arrival, determining urgency and general condition.
• Identify emergency arrivals as "stat" or "standard" emergencies.
• Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
• Confirm all appointments in advance and provide clients with accurate preparation instructions.
• Offer emotional support and resources to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
• Serve as a liaison during pet remains handling, ensuring a complete and respectful process.
