Downtown Veterinary Clinic is actively seeking a friendly and dependable Veterinary Receptionist to join our fast-paced, one-doctor practice in Saint Petersburg, Florida. You will be the first point of contact for clients and pets, ensuring a welcoming experience while coordinating appointments and payments.

Qualifications

Veterinary reception, customer service, or medical office experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and pets with a friendly, professional attitude.
Answer phone calls, emails, and client questions.
Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment flow.
Check patients in and out efficiently.
Process payments and discuss treatment estimates when appropriate.
Maintain accurate client and patient records.
Educate clients on preventive care recommendations, products, and services.
Make follow-up calls and keep clients informed.
Support the veterinary team to create an exceptional client experience.
