Main Street Animal Clinic in Oakland, TN is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to be the welcoming face of our hospital. You will manage appointments, greet clients, and handle multi-line phones while supporting daily patient flow.

Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Oakland, TN

Main Street Animal Clinic is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $17-20per hour, for each hour worked
• This is afull-time positionwith a5/8 schedule, Monday–Friday, with rotating availability on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month (9:00 AM–1:00 PM). No on-call or emergency coverage required.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Cornerstone, preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
