Mt. Spokane Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to greet clients, manage calls, and coordinate services in a friendly, pet‑loving environment. The position offers a 4‑day work week with rotating Saturdays, with no nights, on‑call shifts, after‑hours emergencies, or holiday hours.

We value animal care, client service, and a positive, team‑oriented attitude. Experience in reception and knowledge of medical terms help you support our clinicians and care for our patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Animal care, client service, and receptionist experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with medical abbreviations.
• Willingness to rotate Saturdays and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Greet clients, answer phones, take messages, and address client questions.
• Know the practice’s services and species treated; recommend services.
• Prioritize routine vs emergency cases and notify the medical team.
• Share information about diseases, prevention, and transmission.
• Maintain accurate medical records and filing systems.
• Handle cash transactions, invoicing, and deposits.
• Grow as a professional and mentor teammates.
