Bulger Veterinary Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for a client-focused professional who enjoys helping pets and their families while supporting a collaborative veterinary hospital environment.

As a Veterinary Receptionist at Bulger, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our clients and patients. You’ll help create a welcoming experience while working alongside General Practice, Emergency, and Specialty Medicine teams.

Compensation

About the Role

As a Client Care Specialist, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our clients and patients. You’ll help create a welcoming, supportive experience for pet owners while assisting our medical teams in a busy multi-doctor, multi-specialty hospital environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating clearly, staying organized in a fast-paced setting, and bringing empathy to every interaction.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome clients and patients while providing a warm, professional experience
  • Prepare and review electronic medical records
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and general client communication
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Process payments and assist with financial transactions
  • Support medication fulfillment with attention to detail
  • Provide compassionate support to clients during urgent and end-of-life situations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication across departments
