Job summary

Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in Houston, TX is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our reception team. This full-time role focuses on delivering friendly customer service, managing appointments, and supporting the veterinary staff with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients.
• Process invoices payments.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history.
• Determine the status of the patient's immunizations and tests.
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient's arrival and necessary treatments.
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian.
• Accurately input data into computer software.
• Duties may be reassigned as policies change.
