North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital in Cornelius, NC is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. You will be one of the first points of contact for clients and pets, ensuring a welcoming, organized experience from check-in to check-out.

Experience in veterinary settings is a plus, but strong customer service and administrative background is valued. Evening and weekend availability is required, and you’ll help our team provide compassionate, efficient care.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients and provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Check clients and patients in and out of the hospital.
  • Schedule appointments and assist clients with questions about services.
  • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system.
  • Communicate with clients by phone, email, and text.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate client and patient information.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and other administrative tasks.
  • Monitor the client waiting area and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
  • Communicate client needs and concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Escalate more complex questions or concerns to senior staff when needed.
  • Help maintain an organized workflow and positive client experience.
  • Remain calm, professional, and compassionate in stressful situations.
  • Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to support excellent patient and client care.

Job description

North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our team in Cornelius, NC.

Located beside Lake Norman, our hospital is about a 20-minute drive from uptown Charlotte and within easy reach of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Carolina coast.

We’re looking for a friendly, positive, and dependable team member who enjoys helping people and providing excellent customer service. As a PCC, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our clients and their pets, helping create a welcoming and organized experience from check-in through check-out.

Veterinary experience is a plus, but we’re also interested in candidates with strong customer service, communication, and administrative experience who are excited to learn.

What you’ll do
