Haskell Valley Veterinary Clinic is seeking a friendly, experienced Veterinary Receptionist for full-time or part-time roles. The position involves greeting clients, scheduling appointments, handling payments, and supporting doctors and staff in a fast-paced animal care setting.

The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, has veterinary exposure, and can manage data entry and filing while assisting with retail tasks and maintaining a welcoming reception area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience is required.
• Veterinary experience is required.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and manage patient check-ins and payments.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and relay messages to doctors and staff.
• Handle mail and email communications.
• Update and file patient charts.
• Enter data into billing software and manage records.
• Retrieve prescriptions for clients.
• Assist with pet supply sales and product recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of waiting area.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods while performing duties.
• Support end-of-day cash handling and retail operations.

We are looking for a full-time and part-time friendly, experienced, organized, and dependable Veterinary Receptionist who enjoys working with both people and animals. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service such as greeting customers, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments
• Answer phone calls which may include answering questions, scheduling appointments and recording messages for doctors and staff
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
• Update and file patient charts
• Enter data into computerize billing program
• Retrieve prescriptions
• Assist with pet supply purchases such as food, supplements, and grooming items
• Maintain the cleanliness of waiting room
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods
• Retail sales
• End of day cash handling
