Duke Animal Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the Director of First Impressions. You’ll manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, and ensure every interaction reflects compassionate care while supporting a busy veterinary team.

You’ll help with care coordination by maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments, and handling financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage stress with good judgment.
• Flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays.
• Experience with veterinary software preferred.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
• The salary range for this position is $17.25-$18/Hr. based on experience
