Job summary

Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in Belton, Texas is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist to deliver friendly, high-quality client service and support the veterinary team.

You will answer phones, schedule appointments, collect medical history, process payments, manage data entry, and coordinate with doctors and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent care for all clients and their pets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Weekend availability as needed.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds.
• At least 1 year of veterinary medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
• Process invoices payments
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
• Determine the status of the patient's immunizations and tests
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient's arrival and necessary treatments
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
• Accurately input data into computer software
