Bulger Veterinary Hospital in Lawrence, MA is hiring a full-time Radiology Veterinary Technician to join the radiology department. You will work with digital radiography, ultrasound and CT, and support a collaborative specialty and emergency team.

We offer growth opportunities toward CVT/LVT credentials, generous benefits, and a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Salary ranges reflect experience with a $5/hour night differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting; 3+ years preferred.
• CVT or LVT preferred, but not required;Recent grads with an associate's or bachelor's in Veterinary Technology will be considered.
• Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage diagnostic requests through the hospital information system.
• Maintain radiography imaging database and modify images for accuracy.
• Attach external imaging to the hospital database.
• Maintain accurate records and appropriate par levels of medical supplies.
• Partner with DVMs on inpatient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Utilize multiple imaging modalities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and CT, to support patient assessment.
• Execute, monitor, and recover assigned sedation events.
• Train to operate the CT scanner and ensure radiation safety.
• Support high-quality patient care within a collaborative specialty and emergency hospital environment.
