Radiology opportunity in Spokane Valley, Washington

Why Join Inland Empire Veterinary Imaging

At Inland Empire Veterinary Imaging (IEVI), you'll do more than interpret diagnostic images, you'll become part of a highly collaborative referral imaging practice that has been serving veterinarians throughout the Pacific Northwest since 1999.

We're seeking a residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Radiologist to join our established imaging team. IEVI provides advanced diagnostic ultrasound, CT, and radiographic interpretation services to our in-house specialty teams and an extensive referral network spanning Idaho, Central Washington, Montana, and Canada. Through our close partnership with Pet Emergency Clinic and Referral Center, you'll collaborate directly with specialists and emergency clinicians to help diagnose complex cases and improve patient outcomes.

Unlike many teleradiology-focused positions, IEVI fosters a highly interactive and collaborative environment where radiologists work closely with clinicians and remain actively involved in patient care. Our radiologists enjoy regular face-to-face collaboration with specialists, creating opportunities for continuous learning, professional growth, and meaningful clinical impact.

Our specialty team currently includes Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and a 24/7 Emergency Service, with close working relationships with local specialists in Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and Dermatology. We also maintain an active residency program, providing opportunities for teaching, mentorship, and helping develop the next generation of veterinary radiologists.

IEVI is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging technology, including:

  • Canon Digital Radiology Suite
  • Asteris Keystone PACS System
  • Dragon Voice Recognition Software
  • Dedicated transcription support services

This advanced equipment allows our radiologists to deliver exceptional diagnostic support while practicing at the forefront of veterinary imaging.

At IEVI, we believe radiologists thrive when they have variety in their practice and balance in their lives. Rather than focusing on a single modality, our radiologists enjoy a diverse caseload that includes ultrasound, CT, and radiographic interpretation. We believe this approach promotes professional fulfillment, keeps skills sharp, and creates a more engaging clinical experience.

Just as importantly, we prioritize work-life balance and have deliberately designed our schedule to support clinician wellbeing.

Location Highlight

Located in Spokane Valley, Washington, IEVI offers access to the natural beauty and outdoor lifestyle of the Inland Northwest. The region is known for its four-season climate, affordable cost of living, and endless recreational opportunities.

Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, boating, and camping throughout eastern Washington and northern Idaho. Spokane also offers a vibrant dining scene, local wineries and breweries, performing arts, professional events, and numerous community festivals. Whether you're looking for outdoor adventure or family-friendly living, Spokane Valley provides an exceptional quality of life.

Benefits for this role may include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), retirement benefits, paid time off (including sick leave and vacation), short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance.
