Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health, in Vancouver, Washington, seeks a Veterinary Cardiologist to join a growing specialty team in a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital. The role offers a ProSal model with a base salary range of $180,000–$200,000+, and strong collaboration across disciplines.

You will provide advanced cardiology care, mentoring, and opportunities to shape a leading cardiology program within Ethos. This position emphasizes teamwork, growth, and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Washington state veterinary licensure.
  • Board Certification in Cardiology (ACVIM Cardiology) or residency-trained status.
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical and/or interventional cardiology care, including diagnosis and management of complex cardiac cases.
  • Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, ECGs, and Holter/telemetry monitoring.
  • Participate in on-call coverage for ER echocardiograms and catheterization procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with Emergency and Critical Care teams to support inpatient cardiac care.
  • Access ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities, including procedural growth across the Ethos network.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
