Job summary

Animal Hospital of Diamondhead in Pass Christian, MS, seeks a Hospital Manager to lead daily operations, grow the team, and ensure uninterrupted patient care. You’ll oversee staff hiring/training, financials, inventory, and facilities to foster a welcoming, client-focused practice.

The ideal candidate has a business background, strong leadership, and a patient-centered mindset to drive a thriving hospital while supporting doctors and the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or relevant education and work experience.
• Customer service attitude required.
• Excellent organizational skills including the ability multitask and prioritize.
• Professional and positive attitude with good interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented with ability to support a team-based culture.

Responsibilities

• Managing the financial reporting of the business, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, budgeting, income reconciliation, credit and banking
• Inventory management including process flow and control
• Managing patient medical records and ensuring the highest quality of accuracy
• Responsible for managing the interviewing and hiring of needed staff members
• Providing training for new hires
• Scheduling needs for staff and doctors
• Promotes and helps ensure a patient centered environment
• Facilitates resolutions for client problems that cannot be resolved by doctors or staff
• Community involvement, including participation in fundraising and charity events
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods
