Banfield Pet Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead day-to-day hospital operations and drive business results while developing associates. The role partners with the chief of staff and medical team to ensure a high-quality client and patient experience.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in business or related field and at least three years of supervisory experience, preferably in healthcare or veterinary services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years related experience required (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.), including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development, etc.).
• Experience in healthcare or veterinary settings is advantageous and can support success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates, and evaluating hospital processes and productivity.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care and hospital services.
• Budget, plan for the hospital and manage daily operations.
• Schedule associates and coordinate time off; manage continuing education needs.
