Job summary

Breton Veterinary Hospital in Leonardtown, MD, seeks an experienced Practice Manager with a servant-leadership mentality to lead a growing veterinary clinic. You will coach staff, foster a positive culture, and drive operational excellence in a client-focused environment.

You will oversee daily operations, manage HR tasks, participate in recruiting, and align strategies with practice owners. A Bachelor's degree and 10+ employee management experience are required; advanced veterinary management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• Experience managing teams of 10 or more employees in a client/customer focused setting (required)
• Previous management experience - OR - prior Veterinary Management Experience (required)
• A growth mindset with regard to your professional skills is a must!
• The sincerely held belief that relationships are the #1 driver of success - especially with your team!
• The ability to work autonomously, training staff and implementing initiatives independently.
• A strong background in coaching/mentoring employees with a positive leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of a successful Veterinary Practice
• Eliminate roadblocks and manage escalated client situations
• Monitor KPIs, goals, and objectives, leading and developing the team as you work together to achieve success
• Participate in hiring, training, and developing a positive, collaborative practice team.
• Oversee day-to-day HR operations including, but not limited to, payroll, scheduling, inventory management, etc.
• Working closely with Practice Owners and Partners to implement strategic priorities.
