More than a word, care is present in everything you do. At PetCure Oncology, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, we take action to empower your best care for pets, their families, and yourself.

We are a community of veterinary hospitals forming an extraordinary network of unparalleled resources and people. Through outstanding learning and career opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and abundant support, you’ll be nurtured and appreciated for who you are and what you bring to the table. We come together in both the joys and heartaches of our profession to lift each other up through laughter and empathy.

And, we have plenty of fun along the way!

Who We Are

PetCure Oncology has expanded to Seattle!

We are excited to introduce our brand-new Radiation Oncology department located inside Timberline Specialty & Emergency, which has a targeted opening date of 11/23/26!

PetCure Oncology, owned and operated by Thrive Pet Healthcare, is dedicated to expanding access to advanced veterinary cancer care through a collaborative network of oncology specialists across the country. Our Seattle location brings PetCure's specialized Radiation Oncology services together with the specialty and emergency care available at Timberline, creating an exciting opportunity to help build and shape a new department from the ground up.

We are looking for a Practice Manager to join our team and manage all aspects of PetCure's business operations at this new Seattle location.

This is an especially exciting opportunity for a strong operational leader who enjoys building teams, developing culture, establishing efficient processes, and helping a new operation grow. You'll have the opportunity to partner closely with PetCure Oncology leadership, the Timberline team, and Thrive Pet Healthcare's broader network of operational and clinical resources.

PetCure Oncology's national network provides radiation and/or medical oncology services across multiple markets throughout the United States and is supported by a highly collaborative team of board-certified veterinary oncologists.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the greater leadership team in steering and predicting the hospital's future through planning and problem solving, with a focus on maximizing financial targets and profitability.

  • Utilize standard tools, programs, and processes to drive optimal staffing levels while meeting productivity and service-level expectations.

  • In partnership with the Regional Director of Operations (RDO), manage practice fiscal operations, including accounting, budget planning, authorizing expenditures, and coordinating financial reporting to ensure the practice meets or exceeds annual revenue and EBITDA targets.

  • Work collaboratively with regional support teams and central business support departments to drive operational excellence across Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Legal, Supply Chain, Marketing, People Operations, and the broader Operations teams.

  • Oversee the location's inventory control system, ensuring appropriate supplies are available while conducting audits and managing inventory to budget and P&L targets.

  • Maintain a facility that is visually appealing, organized, and welcoming to clients and team members.

  • Ensure the practice meets Thrive and OSHA safety standards and metrics.

  • Audit the use of practice management software to ensure client records meet established standards of care and service.

  • Engage in active learning by completing required training and becoming Thrive Leader Certified while ensuring the team remains compliant with assigned learning courses.

Leading With Your Heart

Leading with emotional intelligence, influence, collaboration, and empathy

  • Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment that celebrates differences and provides a supportive, productive, and engaging experience for team members.

Bringing people together and leveraging their skills, talents, and knowledge to achieve a common purpose

  • In partnership with Recruiting, manage the hospital's hiring strategy and help build a strong team for this new location, bringing together individuals with diverse experiences, backgrounds, and skill sets.

  • Support ongoing learning and development through consistent feedback, coaching, mentoring, developmental check-ins, and talent planning.

  • Lead from the floor and remain connected to daily operations, identifying opportunities to improve workflow, team member experience, and client satisfaction.

  • Establish and sustain an environment of proactive client engagement and education.

  • Ensure staffing and workflow remain productive and efficient to meet the needs of patients and pet parents.

  • Collaborate with Thrive's Marketing team on hospital initiatives and campaigns.

  • Partner with PetCure and Timberline leadership to help establish efficient workflows, strong working relationships, and an exceptional culture as the new Radiation Oncology department continues to grow.

Key Qualifications
