Position Overview

As a Veterinary Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care through accurate and efficient pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of emergency and critical care, along with excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process prescription requests via email, voicemail, and fax
  • Communicate with clients regarding prescriptions, instructions, and refills
  • Collaborate with veterinary staff on prescription needs
  • Review doctor's notes for prescription directives
  • Understand medication classifications and potential side effects
  • Accurately fill prescriptions in our in‑house pharmacy
  • Place and process prescription orders with external pharmacies
  • Organize and maintain pharmacy inventory
