Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Good computer skills with various applications.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience.
• Attention to detail with ability to problem solve effectively.

Responsibilities

• Compliant Prescription Processing.
• Oversee and ensure accuracy for all pharmacy duties including receiving, entering prescriptions, picking, counting, labeling, packing and tracking inventory.
• Manage the daily operation of the pharmacy and supervise pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Communicate with veterinarians and office staff to build strong working relationships.
• Plan, advise and implement operational plans and budgets for the pharmacy.
• Maintain secure, clean and safe pharmacy/warehouse.
• Travel for reciprocity licensing where required.
