Job summary

Patterson Companies is seeking a licensed pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations in our warehouse environment. You will ensure all prescriptions meet regulatory requirements, supervise pharmacy technicians as needed, and maintain accurate dispensing, inventory control, and safe handling of medications.

This role emphasizes collaboration with the sales and veterinary teams, growth opportunities, and a no-night, no-weekend schedule with comprehensive training and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Good computer skills with various applications.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely.
• Attention to detail with ability to problem solve effectively.
• Demonstrated success in prioritizing and time-management.
• Superior service-orientation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and an independent, accountable, dependent performer.
• Current state Board of Pharmacy license with the ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Ensure prescriptions dispensed meet all federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
• Provide constructive feedback to maintain safe and efficient prescription processing.
• Validate accuracy of all prescriptions and follow up on discrepancies in the prescription filling process.
• Maintain secure, clean and safe pharmacy/warehouse.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations; may supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Collaborate with managers and sales teams to improve efficiency and communication.
• Communicate with veterinarians and office staff to build strong working relationships
