Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in the veterinary industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Must be able to develop and maintain effective and positive work relationships with other employees and representatives of private and public agencies.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense all patient medications, including controlled substances.
• Maintain inventory, order, receive and distribute supplies while controlling costs.
• Assist veterinary technicians with triaging calls, packing lab samples, and floor work.
• Ensure accuracy and anticipate supply needs for the hospital.
