BluePearl Pet Hospital - Veterinary Patient Care Coordinator

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 12p - 12a.

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00/hour

Note: This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience and advancement through our leveling system.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will:

• Act as a liaison between the front and back of the hospital, facilitating client and patient flow.
• Triaging medical phone calls, coordinating communication between clients and doctors.
• Perform ER visit follow-up calls and manage patient discharge processes.
• Provide nursing care according to hospital standards.
• Monitor patient and client status, update clients on wait times and patient progress.
• Maintain communication with staff to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times.
• Manage hospital census and coordinate patient flow across specialties.
• Handle discharge appointments and patient discharges.
• Address patient care inquiries via telephone and facilitate solutions for clients.
• Follow up with ER clients for feedback.
