Eye Care for Animals - York Road in Cockeysville, MD is seeking a part-time Veterinary Ophthalmology Technician to join our team within Thrive Pet Healthcare. You will assist with outpatient care, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory tests, and client communication while delivering compassionate service.

The ideal candidate has veterinary technician experience; licensed preferred but not required. Compensation is hourly, $22–$28, with opportunities for training and growth across Thrive's nationwide

Qualifications

Previous veterinary technician/assistant experience required.
Licensed Technician preferred, but not required.
Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood work and injections.

Responsibilities

Provide animal handling and pre-/post-operative patient care.
Assist in outpatient treatments and surgery support.
Enter service charges and prepare medications for clients.
Engage with clients and present financial options accurately.
